Hip Hip Hooray! It's no more looking down for Aamir Khan ever since he made his directorial debut 'Taare Zameen Par'. Winning laurels and striking gold at box office, appraisals for his stunning directorial not seems to have faded even after a year. Of course, the film would ever remain cherished in the pages of Indian Cinema.

NDTV has its turn of felicitating India's Best personalities and Aamir queues up along with the best Indians. Dr. Pranoy Roy Chairman, NDTV has uttered, India is currently hit by terrible slowdown and government seems to be in a denial mode. Government needs to take immediate and big steps to revive the economic growth. Further dedicating the awards night to recent Mumbai attacks, he added, Terrorist wants to destroy peace and are waiting for us to retaliate. The only way to defeat their purpose is by spreading message of peace and defeating terrorism by peace in this land of Gandhi .

More elated Actor, Director and Producer Aamir Khan expressed his heartiest thanksgiving to the NDTV for conferring the title of 'Best Entertainer of the year'. Also added that all the credit goes to audience for voting for him and encouraging to give best work over the years. It has been a complete team efforts for the films he has worked and feels more privileged for having worked with best directors….

In lieu of the upcoming General Elections, Aamir said, I request our politicians to act responsibly and field candidates with a clean track record and intelligence to govern the country
